주님의 교회소개
We’re a church for Christian Prayer Warriors! We are a network of multiple individual churches in various foreign countries, where Christians can pray together.
Statement of Faith
We believe that the Bible is the authoritative Word of God. We believe that Jesus Christ is the risen/resurrected Son of God. We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins & rose again after 3 days.
The Lord's Church is a church in Incheon, South Korea, with 5 branch churches in North America & Europe.
We hold revivals on a regular basis in various church locations around the world. We’ve held revivals in these 10 countries:
Austria, Australia, Belgium, China, India, Jamaica, Netherlands, South Africa, the U.K. (England) & in the U.S.A.!
Church Leadership
We are 100% dependant upon Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as that’s who the Head of our church is!
Underneath Jesus Christ, is our senior pastor The Reverand Doctor Yong-Doo Kim. Pastor Kim is the writer of the Baptize by Blazing Fire book series. Pastor Kim primarily preaches from Incheon, South Korea.
Underneath Pastor Kim, each branch church has a local pastor, who usually officiates the service & also preaches in the local church branches.
Underneath each pastor are various roles, like assistant pastors, elders, deacons, etc...
Are we denominational or non-denominational?
We’re 100% independent of 3rd party church denominations.
When visiting our church, you will sometimes hear our pastors mention that we are a Presbyterian church. Well, the ordained Korean ministers came from a Presbyterian church background, as that’s the church culture in South Korea.
While you might hear that we’re a “Presbyterian church” from a Korean viewpoint, you could consider us to be non-denominational from an American viewpoint.
Since our church isn’t officially aligned underneath any Presbyterian denomination church bodies, nor any Pentecostal denomination church bodies in South Korea, nor in the USA, nor in Belgium... then from an American viewpoint, we’re considered a Non-Denominational church.
Do you read the Bible?
Yes we do! Some of our church members have read the Bible more than 2 times cover-to-cover. Some of our members have read the Bible 5 to 10 times cover-to-cover! We also have Bible Studies at church and Vacation Bible School (VBS) for children in the Summer.
Which version of the Bible do you read?
Officially: The New King James Version. However, you can read whatever helps you understand God's Word & His Heart.
Bible Hub, Bible Gateway, Blue Letter Bible, Net Bible & YouVersion are all really good websites for reading the Bible online!
What can I expect if I visit the church?
In our churches you might see that we are behave a little more like 1st Century Christians, than you might be used to seeing in mainstream churches. It’s simply because we’re a church of advanced Christian Prayer Warriors. We teach about spiritual gifts.
2,000 years ago, Jesus would preach in the synagogues on the Sabbath. Then He would go out to the mountains to pray at night. So we have church on Sundays. We also also open the church for additional prayer times at night, during the week.
Do you only speak Korean in your churches?
That depends upon which country that you’re in. Korean is the official language of South Korea, so the church service in Incheon is held in the common language of South Korea, which is Korean. In the USA the common language is English. So all 5 of the branch churches in the USA hold services in English. Some may have Korean translations for Korean members. In Belgium, you might hear both English & French.
We always have a Korean to English translator at our revivals.
Is the church only made up of Koreans?
No. Our members come from a mix of diverse skin tones & church backgrounds. We have Koreans, Western Europeans, Jamaicans & various other Asian ethnicities. We also have people who came from Catholic, Lutheran, Baptist, Calvery Chapel & Non-Denominational church backgrounds. You might find friends whom you can relate to, if you come & visit us!
